Christmas is Coming... the Cat is Getting Fat

We sing that song on the holidays because our cat is so fat we say we are going to cook him for Christmas dinner and I was at a loss of a name for the post...so.  Dear, sweet Fallacy DeCuir of FD Decor has so many wonderful things that you can get for free that will get your place completely in the holiday mood. I dressed up my avatar (you have to be matchy for the holidays) with some freebies from Blacklace, Baby Monkey and Mayden Couture.  Before I forget, FD Decor is also having a huge sale until the end of the year.   She will be adding prefab buildings to her line so she needs lots of room for prims.  Discounts are steep.

I took these photos at ARIA with Yelo Uriza's kind permission, I've always wanted to take photos in ARIA because ARIA items are pretty incredibly realistic and low prim.

A lot of the accessories at ARIA are below 100L and low prim, something like 2 prims for a huge stack of books or 2prims for a folded and a rolled towel together(I just bought that haha). I buy all my accessories/decor and some furniture at ARIA, I'm glad it's super affordable as well as perfectly sculpted! If you're into low-prim, modern designs with quality animations, definitely check out ARIA. Great things don't have to be super expensive.

The one-eleven event is also on at the moment, if you're into limited editions (but kinda expensive) items, check it out! Only 111 copies of every item will ever be sold.

I Love Purple Too!

I was at MIAO yesterday looking for something else, and there was this big purple heart. And it had clothes in it. And I was like OHAI free clothes.

Miel has this gorgeous dress as their latest subscribo gift. Other color options are included. I've paired it with the new Purrfect 10 VIP group gift, these paisley stilettos with tiny gold chains. Jewellery by Mandala (not free).

It's 510 to join the VIP group but you get 25 percent off all purchases and a minimum of 10 free shoes a year. Three are already available including the paisley stilettos, the denim stilettos shown below, and the leopard stilettos I blogged previously. A pretty fantastic deal.

Warning! This is not a planned fashion shot.  I was shopping at Thimbles with my whif Whisper when Tesh and Gavin and my pal Evangeline all showed up at the store.  This would not be newsworthy except that the lovely and truly charming, Apatia Hammerer, announced today a huge sale at both Pig and Thimbles.  As most of you probably know, many of the Starlust sims are being sold and Gaylord is one of them.  Pig will be moving to Lloyd in the future but Appy and Melatonin Hax are closing Thimbles so this is your last chance to get some of the funnest, most creatively named clothing on the grid.  Enough fangirl (I could go on for a long time) so here is the scoop: Some items at Pig are being permanently retired and marked down to 25 L (fatpacks been marked down to 99 or 150L.  Also anything black and grey has been marked down to 50L in honor of Appy's dog.  Everything in Thimbles has been marked to 25L and will remain 25L until the Gaylord sim gets sold.

Burning for You

SySy Chapman was asked to make an outfit to commemorate the BURN2 event in SL and she sent it today to subscribers.  It was so nice to put on a such a colorful and fun outfit today while the wind is blowing cold and rainy outside in RL.  The outfit is transferable, too, so you can send it to a friend if you wish.  I had to post this today because I just had to pair it with a fantastic skin that Kira Paderborn is giving away for 44 hours ONLY at her shop, Style by Kira, to celebrate her 4th Rez Day.  I absolutely love the eye makeup and the lush painted lashes!  Thanks to both SySy and Kira for the wonderful gifts!

I Adore Eddy

Found this cute men's store and they have a great sweater on the boards that is totally unisex. The items are very cheap there too.
