The Hunting 9 has begun and will last until Oct.9th 1:00am [SLT]

What is Hunting 9 you ask?

1. Go to any of the participating stores, grab a HUD (one is enough)

2. Go to the participating stores and find a pink heart (hint area search)

3. When you find the pink star, you'll get a prize plus a check mark will appear on the hud for that store.

4. Once you find all the stars, you can TP to Grasp and get a special gift. To easy and very cool

5. SOME STORES ARE MEN STUFF, SOME ARE WOMENS. Obviously I'm not going to model a ladies jacket or earrings..lol. The couch, jeans and jacket are from the hunt guys!

Free*Style 4th Anniversary Event is Coming Soon!

The little blog that Creamy built turns 4 years old in October and we intend to celebrate with an event that should be a great time for all!  The 4.44.444 event opens Saturday, October 1st and runs thru October 14th.  We have over 100 of our favorite designers gathered in one location offering items that will be insanely good values for 4L, 44L and/or 444L.  Some designers were also kind enough to offer free gifts though our aim here is not to offer just freebies; we want to thank the designers that have been so generous to us all while at the time offering incredible values to the SL community.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to prepare the event and could not have done this without the amazing help of space/time/expertise/creations from the following individuals:

We couldn't even have this event without the generous donation of land for the event!  Apatia Hammerer from Pig and Allegory Malaprop from Schadenfreude donated much land and PRIMS for the event.  These are two of the sweetest individuals on the grid and we can't thank them enough.

And we would be lagging on the ground with a bunch of prims thrown around without the amazing talent, patience and skill of Andel Rhiadra from A.D.D. Andel! and Sanura Sakai from Sanu.  These amazing women ran with this project, which started with a "Help!" IM from me to Andel and they have created a gorgeous build complete with decor and vender displays.  They have both donated countless hours of time with no compensation.  

All 4 of these women have been amazingly patient with Sileny and me as we have bumbled, stumbled, fretted and naively under-estimated what is needed to pull off an event of this size.  There will be tip jars near the landing point so if you have ever benefited from our little blog or wanted to thank someone for their kindness in SL, these are 4 people I recommend as more than deserving.  Thank you, again, Apatia, Allegory, Andel and Sanu.  You are all gems.

Do they Sell that Over the Counter?

I've been a shy fangirl of Katx Kirax of Bingo for quite a while now.  She has never had a huge store but she always injects her items with a sense of humor that I appreciate.  She recently released a sweet, little dollarbie that includes a cotton candy striped t-shirt, colorful nail polish, 2 face tattoos (1 tint-able) and a pose (not shown).  Then to top it all off she TP'ed me to Love Soul, where I won this adorable hair that was recently added to their lucky chairs, which perfectly compliments her tats. I had been trying to win it to no avail; it comes in 4 different color packs and are split between the chair in the main store and the one behind the food store.  I added the latest group gift from Pididdle, the envelope necklace, which I seriously need in RL to attach permanently to my son who is forgetting half the things he should bring home from school. Thank you to all the designers for the wonderful presents!

A Diner Dash

I never really liked computer "games" other than like Word Munchers in Kindergarten until I played Diner Dash randomly.  I thought it was fun and so when I saw an article on Yahoo! about free internet games I checked it out.  I saw Second Life was one of the top ten and I was super interested in it since I loved the thought of dressing up my own little avatar "doll."  Well, the rest, as they say, is history.  Today I have my own little diner dame look which hopefully can give you a cheap way to dress up your little pixel dolly!

This adorable hoodie from Ribbon just proves again that Ribbon is getting better each release!  I adore the cute little branches on top and I giggled a bit when I rezzed this table from C&D and realized it had branches too!  Matching FTW!

There are lots of parts to this set from C&D and the quality is wonderful.  I can't believe it is free!  Another very generous creator.  C&D will be part of the upcoming 4.44.444 Free*Style Anniversary event too so that's even more exciting. :)

In This Little Room

Hey! Long time no see again. Today, I will be sharing some free furniture items and a free prefab as well. I found this free skybox from .MM.(Home) on marketplace. It is very small, has a footprint of 7.5 x 8, and only 10 prims! The floor is texture change.

As for the decor inside, all of it is free from Zigana on marketplace (just sort by price: low to high). The shelf that you see comes in 4 colors, and the hanger that you see comes in 3 colors. I resized the screen down a little bit to fit the skybox, because it is huge.

Casual Mix

Decided to just post a nice, casual look.  It's fall now so it's all about the layering (but I am still so all about the bright colors!) so having a cute, cropped sweater is a must.

Jewellery Fair 2011

Jewelery Fair is upon us again. There are four sims each with their own theme; fire, earth, air or water, packed with heaps of jewelery specialists for you to browse. Proceeds from Jewelry Fair 2011 will benefit Oxfam International. Charity vendors, one of a kind auctions, and even Gacha machines are available at the fair that donate to Oxfam. There are many stalls which have free gifts and/or dolarbies throughout the fair for you to find. Here's a very small selection of the goodies available. These may or may not be free items (I took so many pictures I honestly can't remember which ones were free and which were not, and I took many more pictures than the ones that are shown here)! Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy looking through the photos and I hope it inspires you to visit the fair.
