Happy Valentine's Day!

Some people hate Valentine's Day but I like it because 1.I like pink and red 2.I like those chalky heart candy things and 3.It gives me an excuse to tell my friends I love them without sounding like a creeper.  I put together this outfit with some fun free, cheap and not free things for you today.  My tights, skin and hair are not free but they are from the Back to Black event which is really important to me.  The event is to promote awareness of mental health issues and you can find facts posted all over the venue as well as inside of purchased items.  My dress is from Cupcakes and is one of many lucky chair prizes.  Love this color!  My stockings are from Sleeping Koala and come in a version with fishnet in the open panels as well.

 I want to show a close-up of the contents of the cute little Valentine's gift from Deviant Girls.  Normally I don't like anything with a brand name on it but "Deviant Girls" is such a cool name I like this anyway. My lipstick kiss is a subscriber gift from Izzie's.  It comes in a few shades of pink and red to match your look.  My little mouth heart candy is from RezIpsa Loc and is only 5L per try in the gacha at the Love is in the Air event at the Cupcakes sim.  My hair is from Mina at Back to Black and comes with the matching hair bases as well.

My boots are not free or from Back to Black, lol, but they are a new release from A-Bomb and I adore this store so you get to see them anyway. :P

Finally, I want to say happy Valentine's day to everyone.  I firmly believe we have some of the best people as our readers and I adore you all!  We should all celebrate Valentine's day by spoiling ourselves with yummy treats in RL as well as SL!  Om nom nom.  You can grab this berries and cream set (with rez and wear options as well as a cute cookie I haven't shown) on the lucky board at Circa.  Live it up!

Mornin'!

Happy Saturday!  I have a few things here I think you'll enjoy.  First off, this dress and hair flower is from one of my fave stores, Deviant Girls, and is hidden in a pumpkin patch at the Voc Linda sim.  Basically you go to the Voc Linda church and find 2 pumpkins, one with this dress/hair flower and a second from Chocolate Atelier that contains a sheer, black dress.  Almost all of the pumpkins are set for sale but only 2 of them contain the prize.  The hair is a group gift from Yuna's, a store we have blogged before that not only has nice hair for sale but is also very generous with gifts.  The hair comes in 3 colors, each with a different bang style.

The skin is from the Lavanda sim hunt.  The hunt isn't hard, just a little bit confusing, haha.  Basically, you join the Lavanda mall group and TP to the shopping area.  You click the sign that will give you a funny head/hat thing to wear.  You look around all the shops and click the little black halloween goodie bags.  Once you find all the bags and the map you can click the last sign for an LM to the secret prize room.  Inside you will find a bunch of gifts from amazing stores, such as this skin from Mother Goose's.  Have fun!

Obscenely Serene

The Obscene has a new group gift! I have been in this group a thousand years waiting for a new release and not only did they release new items they also have a gift! WOO! The eye makeup up on it goes really well with the colors on this 15L gacha bikini from Dilly Dolls. Love me some stripes! The hair is from Esk-Imo at the Help Japan event where you can find a ton of the best creators putting out ultra affordable items to benefit Japan's relief efforts. If you purchase some of the items there then check out the area that has thank you's for customers, like this awesome tattoo from Deviant Girls.

Cherry Beatdown

Mmmm . . . Donuts

Nuthin' like some tasty sweet treats to get the AM started right. Especially when they consist of the ginormous donut kind. With frosting.

Here's me + my fabby friends Monte Teardrop, Wan Demina (creator of pose/animations store DeminAtions) + Gavin McGinnis basking in the zero cal glory of SL doughnut glory. Wan was showing us the new funness she put into her MM board in honor of V-Day (on a 69 count lockdown, tee hee) + we all had such a great time with 'em. Check out this adorable bundle of free heart-shaped balloons that you can hold, which sways you from side to side while bobbing you up and down.
These silly balloons are way fun + gave us all a fit of the giggles. Plus there's something about swishing around on these airy things that just throws you back to being 8 years old again, when you wondered what it'd be like to simply float away.
