Pierced and Fierce

Just a head shot for you today.  I usually do shots from the waist up and here is my secret: I do from the waist up 1. to show better detail on the face/accessories/etc. because it's closer and I am too lazy to take a far away and a close-up for one post and 2. it means I don't have to wear shoes or pants or anything. LOL.  Now you know. :P 

My piercings are one of the current hunt gifts from Phoebe's Piercings.  It's really fun with the tiny little dangling skull and is mod to fit your face.  There are unisex hunt gifts in the store so the boys should check it out too.  My hair is one of several colors in the April Action Hair VIP group (250L join fee) and I love this store because they give so many gifts and they are always lovely.  My skin is by me, lol, for the Adore&Abhor VIP group (50L join fee.)  My eyes are from Banana Banshee for Wear Gray and there are lots of colors available. The event is a charity event and is one of the few events that I know are totally legit donation wise so make sure to check it out. My shape is from Savoir Faire at Motif and is mod and super cute.  Motif is a new event for some designers buddies to just work together and have fun and I am excited to see what we all can bring each month.  My prim lashes are oldies but goodies from Redgrave.

I'll finish the second half of the tutorial later today.  They take forever to do and I don't have time at the moment so I thought I would share a quick LOTD with some free and cheap goodies involved!  This look makes me feel really young, fresh and stylish.  Love!

 

 My eyes are from Umeboshi, a new to me store, and they are only 1L in this color.  Also if you join the subscriber you get two free tees sent automatically.  My hair is from Action and is this month's VIP group gift.  They give out a gift just about every month, some months have been more than once since I've joined, and the group has gotten discounts and all sorts of stuff before so it's way worth the join fee.  My skin is a group gift in store from My UglyDorothy.  It's been out a while already but dang it's so cute!!  My top is 88L at Collabor88 from Willow.  I really like the almost vintage vibe to it.  Check the credits for more information below. :D

Ghost Woman

I just love when a look puts itself together.  I was wearing my white skin and this light blonde hair from Action when I opened the gift from Miamai and wore it.  All white with no plan to do so!  I felt like a ghostly woman and I had to run to Innsmouth and take a nice, spooky photo.  The items ARE white, the lighting just makes them look green, gray and pink, haha.

Fall Weather

I found some nice goodies in fall colors that I wanted to share.  The top is actually a dress by Cupcakes but I realllllly wanted to wear my new mesh skirt from Beetlebones so I combined the two.  My short 'do is from Action and the streaks are color change.  Several other colors of the style are included in the pack as well.  My adorable glasses are from Haut.Monde and are only 4L. :D  I have glasses in RL and I love them so I have a fondness for them in SL.  Check out the rest of the items too because they are super cheap!!

Up Close and Personal

I'm super busy today but when I saw these items I absolutely had to do a quick post to share them!  The Action hair comes in several colors and the streaks are color change!  The skin is a gift from Mons and since this is swiftly becoming one of my fave skin stores I grabbed this faster than you can say squee!  It has a light dusting of freckles that is gorgeous on its own but I added some of my own freckles because I guess I was in a polka dotty type of mood. o.0  The lip piercing from Somnia comes with a belly ring as well.  Also, there is a "monroe" style gem piercing attached to the lip piercing but I wanted to wear it just with the rings.

Pink and Such

Just some good free finds in a pink mix for Bubblegum Weekends. :) I got this adorable top by Apatia Hammerer for the Purveyors of Accidental Love group and it made me feel so happy about staying in the group even though it had been inactive for ten thousand years. xD I think it looks fun and summery with the pink shorts from The Sea Hole.

I wanted to do a close up of the Curio gift skin from the Truth District opening. I usually only wear very pale or very dark skins but I'll go tan for a face as sweet as this! My double bubble colored hair is the latest in store group gift from Action.

I was wearing these shoes for the post but then they didn't end up in the first picture. Oh well! Here is a picture anyway!
