Sun, Surf and Turf

I have a mix of things today for you.  I found some mesh things in the Mesh Around hunt that could actually be mixed and matched (gasp!) so I had to share them.  This dress is one of two styles you get (in multiple sizes, of course) from Happy Undead in the hunt.  I discovered that this soft, green top from Ingenue went smoothly over it so I had to combine them.  There is a pink one too!

My nails are a hunt gift from Moondance and I'm sorry I couldn't get a great shot (still trying to figure out the viewer I need to use to get around the rezzing issues I'm having, sadly) but when you see them up close they have a sort of lacy-gem-gothic style texture on them.  My hair is the Moolto hunt prize from Catwa and it comes in a few shades of blonde.  There's a male hair style for the hunt too! 

The skin I am wearing is a new release from MiaSnow at the Skin Addiction event.  As soon as I showed the picture on Flickr people were out asking me where the skin was from.  It's such an unusual look, but it's so soft and serene.  It's photorealistic in some spots but not so much that you end up in creepy uncanny valley territory.  Cleavage, dimples, eyebrow options, everything.  it's not free but there IS a free set of freckles at the event!  My jewelry is new from Hate Me and Eat Me and is also not free but I love it!  Green is my fave color and the girl in me that was raised Catholic can't get enough crosses.

Pierced and Fierce

Just a head shot for you today.  I usually do shots from the waist up and here is my secret: I do from the waist up 1. to show better detail on the face/accessories/etc. because it's closer and I am too lazy to take a far away and a close-up for one post and 2. it means I don't have to wear shoes or pants or anything. LOL.  Now you know. :P 

My piercings are one of the current hunt gifts from Phoebe's Piercings.  It's really fun with the tiny little dangling skull and is mod to fit your face.  There are unisex hunt gifts in the store so the boys should check it out too.  My hair is one of several colors in the April Action Hair VIP group (250L join fee) and I love this store because they give so many gifts and they are always lovely.  My skin is by me, lol, for the Adore&Abhor VIP group (50L join fee.)  My eyes are from Banana Banshee for Wear Gray and there are lots of colors available. The event is a charity event and is one of the few events that I know are totally legit donation wise so make sure to check it out. My shape is from Savoir Faire at Motif and is mod and super cute.  Motif is a new event for some designers buddies to just work together and have fun and I am excited to see what we all can bring each month.  My prim lashes are oldies but goodies from Redgrave.

Peeking

I have this skin from My UglyDorothy and I just thought it looked so interesting with the tattoo layer makeup from Miss Shippe's Studio for the Flux event.  I felt aged and broken, yet romantic and filled with history.  I used the keyhole photography hud from Vaughan's House of Curiosities because it just seems like this woman would be someone people would work hard to see because, even as she ages and becomes more cynical and worn from her chosen profession, she would still retain that certain something, that feeling of pure sexuality, that can't be seen or named and certainly doesn't exist only in youth.  I hope you enjoy them as well as the other wonderful things I am wearing tonight.

Cherry Pink

This new PixelDolls gift dress has me bouncing in my chair. It's so cute! It is really one of the most well made pieces I've found in a long time. I need more!! The colors also match the flower attachment that comes with the Clawtooth by Clawtooth FLF item perfectly.

Flickering

I love things that are bit mismatched, eclectic, chaotic...unexpected. This skybox from Mulvada Mujer is perfect for someone like me! And seeing as I am a foodie this lovely dining set from Sweet Bites for the EaHH charity event makes dining alone in my new skybox not so bad.

This skin from Imabee is a group gift from the new line and what a wonderful gift it is!! The freckles, the cleavage, the brow options, even the yellow-gold lips makes this a must have. You need to buy the not free version of these skins if you love a young, fresh look. The top is from Malt and is one of several colors available at the EaHH event for charity. Extend a Helping Hand has even received news coverage!!!
