Pinkie Fly

I know doing the whole "tinting everything in a picture black and white post-process except one color only" thing is a blogger cliche but I just felt like doing it anyway.  This pink is just so bright and fun that I had to!  This jacket is a mesh item from a new to me store called "Wha†ever" and is a group gift.  It comes in lots of sizes.  My hair is from Alice Project and is also mesh.  You can grab this up in the Mesh Around hunt.  There is a hud with it that allows you the change the color and tips and streaks to about any combo you can imagine.  Such a generous gift!!  My necklace is not free but is available at the latest Chic Management event from RezIpsa Loc.  I have a thing for cameos so woo!

I Wanna Do Bad Things But Stay Comfy :P

I almost have my issues with rezzing and stuff figured out so I wanted to share some good stuff real quick with my lady avatar.  First off, Plausible Body is a store I have heard of but never been to.  I went finally and discovered lots of cute things, all of them set as pay-what-you-want.  What P.W.Y.W. means is that you decide what the items are worth to you, what you are willing to pay, what you have available to you.  Say you have a newbie friend who has very few Lindens or you are on an extremely strict budget; you could go to Plausible Body and pay a small amount.  Say you have a good budget and you love the items; you can go and pay the suggested price on the vendor photo or even higher.  I'm on the strict budget end right now so I wasn't able to pay a ton but I plan on paying a bunch on my next visit once I make some more Ls.  What you do is click the vendors and you'll receive the items, often in several colors.  Then you go to the pay box in the center of the store and pay what you can.  It's a great concept and I sincerely hope people don't take advantage of it in a negative way.

OK that was a lot of chatting, sorry. xD  I wanted to mention my cute shirt above.  I am super addicted to True Blood so when I saw this Do Bad Things shirt from Sn@tch for only 75L, which includes a whole bunch of other shirts too, I had to grab it as fast as I could.  I paired it with this completely fresh and innocent looking skin from the M.O.C.K. Cosmetics group gift for a bit of contrast.  I added some not free colorful tattoo makeup (not free) from Miss Shippe's, a 10L open mouth alpha from Adore&Abhor, and a side pony style (not free) from Alice Project, and a friendly pose above from Status to make it even more innocent seeming.  My eyes are one of three colors you can find as a subscriber gift from Skin Within.

Last Minute Post

  SL has been a total d**k to me the last several days and I have barely been able to get anything done.  I managed to sort of get a picture, small and cruddy as it may be, of some sale items from Cheap Makeup and PurpleMoon before their sales ended. 
  Cheap Makeup has everything at the store set to 40% off through the 19th.  This means you can get their already low priced makeup for ridiculous prices, like 15L a makeup and things like that.  They have things all the way from basic to wild and it really is possibly my fave tattoo makeup store so go check it out before it ends!

  The PurpleMoon sale ends on the 20th.  All the new release mesh items in the center area of the store are only 59L.  I got this great strapless dress and a pink vintage sweater but I really want to go back and grab some more!!

Pierced and Fierce

Just a head shot for you today.  I usually do shots from the waist up and here is my secret: I do from the waist up 1. to show better detail on the face/accessories/etc. because it's closer and I am too lazy to take a far away and a close-up for one post and 2. it means I don't have to wear shoes or pants or anything. LOL.  Now you know. :P 

My piercings are one of the current hunt gifts from Phoebe's Piercings.  It's really fun with the tiny little dangling skull and is mod to fit your face.  There are unisex hunt gifts in the store so the boys should check it out too.  My hair is one of several colors in the April Action Hair VIP group (250L join fee) and I love this store because they give so many gifts and they are always lovely.  My skin is by me, lol, for the Adore&Abhor VIP group (50L join fee.)  My eyes are from Banana Banshee for Wear Gray and there are lots of colors available. The event is a charity event and is one of the few events that I know are totally legit donation wise so make sure to check it out. My shape is from Savoir Faire at Motif and is mod and super cute.  Motif is a new event for some designers buddies to just work together and have fun and I am excited to see what we all can bring each month.  My prim lashes are oldies but goodies from Redgrave.

Just a little mix and match look for you today before I go back to enjoying my lovely, rainy Sunday.  Anyone but me just love cloudy, slightly gloomy, but still warmish days?  Love them.  Anyway, my outfit is from Sn@tch.  The ivory-colored over shirt is part of a dress that you can win from the lucky boards in several colors.  My shirt and shorts are part of a set of about a zillion pieces (including roller skate sneakers and a skating AO!) that you can win in the 7Seas fishing pond** next to the lucky board.  My bag is a group gift from Tee*fy in store and it's mesh and so cute and also includes a larger shoulder style bag.

My hair is from Vive9 at Collabor88 and is pretty cool because it comes with a tattoo layer hair base portion that works to make the hair have a realistic center part.  My skin is from Adore&Abhor at Flux and is only 100L.  I took the eyebrow off the skin and added a little drama with the eyebrow remover that comes inside the punk eyebrows pack at Miss Shippe's Studio.

**Note about 7Seas fishing:
To use the 7Seas fishing system *and* win all prizes you must purchase a pro rod (it's around 250L or something like that I think) and use bait (30L for 100 pieces.)  The fishing rod then can be used at any location that has 7Seas fishing and you don't ever have to purchase another rod, just bait when you run out.  There are a zillion places that allow 7Seas fishing so it's very worth the cost.

Have to do a little self pimpin' for a second and let you all know that the Adore&Abhor VIP group has two gifts in the notices right now.  Airedine made this cute strawberry shirt and I have a matching pink tattoo layer lipstick for you.  All VIP gifts will be put out into the store once they are out of notices in a group gift giver that only the VIPs have access to so that if you miss a past gift you can get it later! :D

Happy Valentine's Day!

Some people hate Valentine's Day but I like it because 1.I like pink and red 2.I like those chalky heart candy things and 3.It gives me an excuse to tell my friends I love them without sounding like a creeper.  I put together this outfit with some fun free, cheap and not free things for you today.  My tights, skin and hair are not free but they are from the Back to Black event which is really important to me.  The event is to promote awareness of mental health issues and you can find facts posted all over the venue as well as inside of purchased items.  My dress is from Cupcakes and is one of many lucky chair prizes.  Love this color!  My stockings are from Sleeping Koala and come in a version with fishnet in the open panels as well.

 I want to show a close-up of the contents of the cute little Valentine's gift from Deviant Girls.  Normally I don't like anything with a brand name on it but "Deviant Girls" is such a cool name I like this anyway. My lipstick kiss is a subscriber gift from Izzie's.  It comes in a few shades of pink and red to match your look.  My little mouth heart candy is from RezIpsa Loc and is only 5L per try in the gacha at the Love is in the Air event at the Cupcakes sim.  My hair is from Mina at Back to Black and comes with the matching hair bases as well.

My boots are not free or from Back to Black, lol, but they are a new release from A-Bomb and I adore this store so you get to see them anyway. :P

Ghost Woman

I just love when a look puts itself together.  I was wearing my white skin and this light blonde hair from Action when I opened the gift from Miamai and wore it.  All white with no plan to do so!  I felt like a ghostly woman and I had to run to Innsmouth and take a nice, spooky photo.  The items ARE white, the lighting just makes them look green, gray and pink, haha.

Too Cool For a Jacket

I just realized my av was wearing a winter hat but only a tee and it reminded me of those people you see on the coldest of cold days wearing like a coat and shorts or something.  So confusing.  But oh well!  My av is still awesome because it's not actually cold inside computer land.  To my knowledge anyway.  Anyway, my skin is the latest group gift from JeSyLiLo and it is love.  It's a great tone and has huge boobie cleavage.  Weeeeeee! I am aware my eyebrows don't match my hair color but I am having that issue in RL at the moment since I am late for my salon appointment so it's more realistic, eh? I watch too much Youtube.  Anyway, How cute is this little cat mask head decor from Ni.Ju?!  This girl always be making the cuteness.  Check her store for more goodies and deals and just plain good stuff for sale.  My shirt is from Tarnished and is part of the sim-wide hunt at Onyx Noir.  The hunt lasts through January 2nd so you have a bit of time to find all the prizes.  Items are scattered around the entire sim, some inside of stores and some just out and about.  Look for a cute lil' teacup.

Hi guys!  I'm still ultra busy but I wanted to show you some stuff.  This pose is one of several you can get from STaTus.  The group is currently free to join and they send out regular gifts.  Pretty awesome! The clock is one of the KittyCats advent gifts, this one from Intrigue Co.  It's cute and the eyes and tail swing back and forth.  Basically you just go to the KittyCats store and click the dates on the board in the center of the store and each date gives you a new gift.  Everyday there is a new one but you can get the past days too.  My bodysuit and skin are from Adore&Abhor and are 100L each for the Twisted Krissmuss event.  We also have a new release item out for around 50L each day through Christmas.
